안녕하제요!

It's Day 5 and its a sightseeing day!

`
We woke up at 9am and began to take turns to
get ready for the day.

A OOTD shot while waiting for the rest to be ready
Jacket: Knitted jacket from random shop from Myeongdong
Top: Grey vest from Timberland and Maroon dress from Cotton On
Bottoms: Jeggings from DP

`
We took the subway from Myeongdong Station to Gyeongbokgung Station
to have our brunch at the famous Tosokchon Samgyetang (토속촌 삼계탕)
It is also another must have in Seoul and it is best to go slightly earlier than lunch
to avoid the long queue .
We were lucky that when we reach there it has no queue and the
waiting time was shorter than usual.

I look kinda short here. Haha!

Tosokchon Samgyetang (토속촌 삼계탕)
Direction: Gyeongbokgung Station (Line3), Exit 2

Lucky us, there isn't a queue

But it's crowded inside

Piping hot Samgyetang

It's legit ginseng!

`
We walked back to Gyeongbokgung Station to have a better
maneuver to Gyeongbokgung for a tour
to their biggest palace during the Joseon Dynasty and now.

The garden in Gyeongbokgung. I like!

Supposed to wait for the guards exchange but
I think I missed it AGAIN!

`

Since, we are at Gyeongbokgung and it's pretty near to Samcheongdong
so we decided to head there but I still don't know the way to
walk over from Gyeongbokgung. =(
Instead of walking, we took a train to Anguk Station and walk from the station.
It is super easy to locate the place from Anguk Station but a good 15 minutes
walk is needed but it would be just right for lunch after the walk.

`
As we were walking to Samcheongdong, my DSLR decided to fail me
by losing its battery power
These were the last 2 Samcheongdong street photo before it died

`
It is another artsy place with lots of designer boutique and cafes.
We thought of having lunch at Insadong but our stomach started
growling as we walked past several pastries shop.
The thought of wanting to give in for the pastries and not wait for
Miss Lee Cafe's Bento boxes was strong.
As soon as, we wanted to enter one of the cafe for some pastries,
I spotted Miss Lee Cafe's Samcheongdong branch
and decided to ditch the pastries for their lunch boxes.

`
The branch at Samcheongdong is much more spacious
than the one in Insadong and also less crowded.
We ordered 2 Miss Lee's Lunch Boxes to share
and a Bingsu for dessert.

I didn't managed to capture the Bingsu as the thoughts
of capturing wasn't there when it came.
After lunch, we continued strolling along the street of Samcheongdong.
I bought hair accessories for myself, friends and nieces because its too cute not to buy.

`

Next, we walked over to Insadong from Samcheongdong another
artsy place and the stuffs there were very pricey.
Shopping at Insadong can give it a missed.
However, it is a must to go the Alive Museum at Insadong.
It is much more smaller than Trick-Eye Museum and
exhibit inside are different.

This is so cute! Monster Lovely Land

Back to womb!

What the hell is this?

Giant donut!

`

After all the fun we had in Alive Museum
we left Insadong and head back to Myeongdong for dinner.
Huimin brought us to one of the best Gamjatang, which is Potato and Pork Bone Stew.
It was so good that we finished the whole bowl of rice
and the soup

`
Another walk in Myeongdong is mandatory every night
to digest the food that we all had for dinner.
But, I still had some room for street snacks
when we walked past the whole stretch of streets with
street vendors.

Potato-Cheese

Rice-cake with Fried Chicken

Humongous Rainbow Candy Floss
that is freaking expensive

Steamed shellfish and cuttlefish
(Yummy! Another of my favourite)

Preparing my shellfish!!!

`

Another must-do is to shop their convenience store for snacks.
That is another highlight of my trip to Korea every single time.
I will definitely buy the famous banana milk and their onion rings.

After shopping at the convenience store, we finally head back
to our hotel for the night. I started on my Onion Rings after
I am done with my wash up while watching Produce 101.
It is the best snack!

`
Another day had passed.
Will be back for Day 6 soon
and is another sightseeing day.
