안녕하제요!
`
I am back for Day 3
in Spring Korea.
`
We woke up relatively early on Day 3
to visit the Jalgachi Market for breakfast.
We took the subway from Nampo Station to Jalgachi Station and walk about 5 minutes to the market area. Jalgachi Market Operating Hours: 8.00am to 10.00pm Direction: Jalgachi Station, Exit 10, Turn right Walk for 5 minutes and turn left. ` Jalgachi Market is a day market that sells seafood, dried seafood, dried goods and some other miscellaneous (e.g. shoes). The market is comprise of the open-air and indoor market. However, if you want to buy and have your seafood cook immediately then you can try the indoor market, where they will bring your seafood up to the restaurant to cook. `
The weather is SUPER cold on that morning
and we decided that we need to get into any restaurant
for some warmth. After walking down the stretch of shops,
we decided on the same shop that I patronized last year
when I came with my 친구.
`
The Ajumma was friendly and we had almost the whole shop
to ourselves but I swear, the food was really good,
especially the eel. OMG!!! I am salivating now as I blogged.
I need to go back to Korea so soon!!
`
We ordered Abalone Congee, Seafood Kimchi Pot, Alive Octopus
and their Eel Pot.
It was really comfort food for the cold weather and we feel so warm
after the meal. The bill to the meal wasn't pricey either and it is
definitely affordable if you are on a budget trip.
`
After the delicious breakfast, we headed down to Gamcheon Cultural Village
which is also known as the Busan Santorini.
It is still a residential area and if you are heading there,
you probably have to keep your volume down so that it don't disturbance to
the villagers there.
`
We took the subway from Jalgachi Station to Toseong Station and
took a bus into the village. It was pretty easy to locate as most of the people
onboard the bus are heading over so just alight when everyone alight
as Gamcheon Cultural Village is the last stop before looping it back
to Toseong Station.
Gamcheon Culture Village
Operating Hours: 9am - 5pm
Admission: Free
Bus Fare: 800 KWR
Direction: Toseong Station, Exit 8
Walk straight until you reached the bus-stop in front of PNU Cancer Centre
Take Mini Bus #2-2 or #2
`
Entrance of the village.
Alight at bus-stop, turn right and walk straight
There is a few photo points around the village and
I didn't managed to go to all of it as it was raining heavily
with the cold wind blowing.
You should be able to see the walking man with floral pants and
a fish mural
few minutes walk from the entrance
However, I didn't enter from the main entrance into the village.
I make a left turn with the one and only photo point
Huimin and sister
Sister and Me
After this photo point,
you need to walk down a DAMN, STEEP SLOPE and a BIG ROUND CIRCLE
in order to head back up to where most of the tourist will.
`
It took us quite a while to head back up
and we need to climb this 100 plus flight of stairs in order to reach the hill-top.
The flight of stairs nearly killed my sister on the way up
and I was being nagged for bringing them
to the long route. But it's still a experience isn't it?
`
After reaching the hill top, there is a photo area for you to take
beautiful snapshot of the village and a rest area for people to take a break.
We took a good 5 minutes break before continuing the walk around the village
and a must queue photo point is the Little Prince and Fox.
The queue is horrendous and it has no different between the last time I came
and current, it is always queuing.
Even though, it was my 2nd time here,
I did queue up again but this time just to take the Little Prince, Fox and the scenery.

`
After all the walking, climbing and queuing,
our stomachs began to growl, means
it time for LUNCH.
We found a cozy cafe along the stretch of shops
somewhere near the Little Prince and just decide on that.
The cafe oversee the village and it's a pretty conducive place.
If I could just sit there for the entire day, it will great.

The interior of the cafe, very cottage feel
Romantic right? =P
I love these dolls. They are so adorable!
喜怒哀!

`
We ordered a Bento Set, Bingsu, Green Tea Latte
and a must order Sweet Potato Latte.
I am very upset when Korea's cafe in Singapore don't sells
Sweet Potato Latte and I can only yearn to
fly back to Korea in order to settle my craving.
Sweet Potato Latte (It's a must have in Korea)
Green Tea Latte
Lunch Box Bento
Fruit Bingsu
`
Soon, our stomachs are all filled up with the yummy food
and we just chill and lepak around the cafe
till we see that the day is turning dark.
We walked out of the village and took back the same bus opposite
the village back to the city.
Caught this heart shape while waiting for the bus to move off
opposite the village
`
We headed back to the city and decided to go to the
Lotte Department Store to walk around.
While shopping around Lotte Departmental Store,
we saw Krispy Kreme and wanted to get a few piece of the donuts
but we were too full from the lunch at Gamcheon Cultural Village.
After the walk at Lotte Departmental Store, we go through
the underpass that leads us all the way back to BIFF Square so that
we can head over to their Busan Tower and Yongdusan Park.
Mandatory Tourist Shot
Busan Tower!
Busan Tower
Operating Hours: 9.00am to 10.00pm
Admission: 4000 KWR (Observatory Tower)
Direction: Nampo Station, Exit 1
It is not as big or grand as Namsan Tower in Seoul
and it is pretty old as compared to the latter.
To get up to where the tower is located,
you have to take several escalator up the hill
to reach the foot of the tower.
Afterwards, another few flights of stairs up to the ticketing
area to purchase the tickets up to the Observatory Tower.
A lift has to be taken to reach the top of the tower
and it is shorter as compared to Namsan Tower.
However, it is all worth it when you see the night view of Busan.

`
As the day gets dark, we exited the tower and head back
to BIFF Square for some cafe chilling.
We settled down at Hollys Cafe to chill our night
before heading back to the hotel to pack our luggage
for Seoul the next day
Mint Chocolate Cake & Tiramisu
Slurping my Hot Sweet Potato Latte again!
`
That's all for Day 3 and it's the end of
our Busan trip. We are heading to Seoul
안녕!
